These terms apply to the Jesusinho app and the jesusinho.app site. By using either, you agree to them. They were written to be read: if anything isn't clear, get in touch.
What Jesusinho is
A free app for prayer and Bible reading, with a little pixel-art Jesus. It doesn't replace your church, the guidance of a religious leader or professional help, such as a doctor's or a psychologist's. In an emergency, seek help from your local emergency services.
The Word
Jesusinho only shows Scripture, always with the reference; the app doesn't make up words and uses no artificial intelligence. The app's Bible text is the Bíblia Livre (BLIVRE), under the Creative Commons Attribution license. On the English version of this site, the verses come from the World English Bible, in the public domain.
Your account
To use the app, you create an account with an email and password. To create it, you accept these terms and the Privacy policy, and authorize keeping your faith tradition and what you write in the app in your account. Both boxes are mandatory: see "Consent at sign-up" in the Privacy policy.
Keep your access safe: you are responsible for what is done with it. Signing out erases the content and preferences from the phone, after sending what was still missing to the cloud. To sign out, you need internet.
You can delete the account whenever you like, in the app or at jesusinho.app/en/delete-account. This erases the cloud copy and withdraws the consent.
Emails
The app sends service emails and may send news about Jesusinho itself, which you can cancel in Settings or through the link in the email. See the section "Emails we send" in the Privacy policy.
Allowed use
Use the app and the site for what they are. Don't try to reach other people's data, overload or attack the servers, copy the app to sell it, or use the site's forms to send spam.
Price
The app is free and has no forced ads. Nothing essential is paid. If something is ever paid, it will be cosmetic only, optional, and with the price clear beforehand.
Beta test
Test versions may have bugs and change without notice. By taking part, you help find problems before launch; what you report may be used to improve the app.
Warranties and liability
We do our best to keep the app and the site working well and without interruption, but we can't guarantee it always will. As far as the law allows, the project is not liable for indirect damages from using the app or the site. Nothing in these terms removes your rights as a consumer.
Privacy
What we do with your data is in the privacy policy, which is part of these terms.
Changes and governing law
If these terms change, the date at the top changes with them, and important changes are shown in the app before they apply. The laws of Brazil apply.
